Running $.getScript inside of $.getScript
I am having some issues with this,
I am trying to load a 2nd $.getScript inside a $.getScript
This is what I am doing
$.getScript("../../../../Scripts/scriptA.js");
$.getScript("../../../../Scripts/scriptB.js");
but I am getting the error
"Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token )
I'm not sure what am doing wrong here and why the script that I am trying to load after the first script load is not running.
Update:
I tried to place the scripts this way
$('#main').load("../Scripts/scriptA.js");
$('#main').load("../Scripts/scriptB.js");
and I am getting the error
"Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected end of input
if I remove the first line I get the other error
"Uncaught ReferenceError: $ is not defined
A:
This should work:
var scriptA = $.getScript("../../../../Scripts/scriptA.js");
var scriptB = $.getScript("../../../../Scripts/scriptB.js");
